Kitchen

Due to the shortage of Space the new kitchen was built in the region of Divyasingha Deva (1662-1713 AD) where 56 varities of delicious food are prtepared for about 25000 people. The no of items are increases to 86 on Makara Sankrati day . the kitchen is capable to cook food for one lakh people. The holy food is cooked in earthen pots using only wood as fuel. The kitchen are of 9 types which are

2. Amar Kitchen
3. Odia Kitchen
4. Bhitaratcha Kitchen
5. North Side Kitchen
6. Bada Ada Kitchen

7. Pitha Ada Kitchen
8. Thali Bada Kitchen
9. Satapuri Kitchen

The total Kitchen have 752 nos of Fire entrances/ Chullas. Near the Kitchen there are 2 wells named as Ganga and Jamuna which are about 90'.0" and 45'.0" deep respectively. Each day morning the Puja Panda Brahmin arriving at the kitchen yard collects fire from the previous day cooking fire place/ chulla and repairs the fire by performing "HOMO" by coconut and then the cook prepares the holy food.
